About

Barbary Coast is a licensed full-service recreational cannabis dispensary located in San Francisco that is dedicated to serving our community. 

Barbary Coast Collective is located in the historical district of downtown San Francisco. The architecture itself conjures the image of a modern-day speakeasy, with exposed brick and mahogany tones, a nod to its prohibition past. Atmosphere coupled with onsite smoke & vapor lounge create a luscious environment for medicating. After checking in at the front desk, consultations take place at the bar, where people can seat themselves (or stand) while talking with their individual budtender and making their purchases. Our menu offers a wide variety of cannabis strains, concentrates, edibles, topicals, vaporizers, sublingual and accessories at a broad and fair range of prices. Each strain of cannabis is individually sealed, and sample are then presented in front our patients for transparency and flexibility. We believe in helping our guests and maximizing their experience to the fullest with weekly deals on quarter ounces, etc. and hands-on interaction with our clientele so they may have a great experience.

Previously a medical cannabis dispensary, Barbary Coast became open to the public for adult-use in January 2018. To ensure the potency and safety of our products, all combustibles, vapes, edibles, and topicals are lab-tested and approved in compliance with the regulations provided by the California Bureau of Cannabis Control before arriving on our menu.

Our lounge is now back open for fully vaccinated customers! Please bring proof of your vaccination to check into the lounge. The Barbary Coast lounge is a safe, clean, and comfortable space where you can enjoy your cannabis products and hang with family and friends. With 5 HDTVs you can enjoy sporting events, movies, and TV in a quiet space while indulging in your favorite cannabis products.

Please be aware that no tobacco products, alcohol, food, or outside cannabis products are allowed. To uphold a tradition of integrity and safety for our clients, all of our medicine is lab-tested.
